Okay, I just want to say I'm not a tree hugger or anything like that but I do feel like every little thing I can do to better the future for my children, I'm going to do it. Cancer runs in my family like wild fire, on both sides. I feel like living in eastern Kentucky didn't help much due to the fact of all the chemicals that is in our drinking water and the radation coming off the mountians (and ppl wonder why Eastern KY has a high rate of cancer patients). On top of that, all the chemicals used on foods today. One day I started to think about all of these things, since so many of my family member have passed away from cancer and my grandmother just went through radation and kemo treatments for cervical cancer, I wanted to figure out a way to help slow down the chance my my kids having to battle cancer on down the road. I started to do my research on what Organic food really was, and to say the least, I was impressed. So every time I would go to the grocery store I would buy something Organic. Now I'm to the point where almost every single thing in my kitchen is Organic. I have compared prices of all the different brands of Organic food companies and the one that I have found the cheapest is 'Kroger's Premium Selection Organic'. Now, I know that eating Organic is a little bit more expensive but if you think about how healthy it is for you and your family and how good it tastes, it's worth the little extra money. Anderson is just now starting to eat baby food and baby cereal and guess what? He eats all Organic. I even found some Organic baby formula for when I stop breastfeeding him, when he get's him first tooth. And Callie has been eating so much better since I have started cook Organic meals. We eat Organic breakfast, lunch and dinner. I remember the first time I brought home Organic milk, Ray was complaining saying that it smelled funny and that he wasn't going to drink it. But then he tried it and LOVED it! So if you have never tried Organic food, you should. Then let me know what you think.
